MSNBC's Frank Figliuzzi explains why none of the former FBI agents was a 'whistleblower'

As Twitchy reported, FBI whistleblowers testified Thursday before the House Judiciary and Weaponization Committee about how the FBI had retaliated against them, including how one former special agent was transferred across the country only to be suspended on his first day; he testified that his family had to borrow coats because his family’s belongings were locked in an FBI-controlled storage facility.

Democrats beclowned themselves, with one confronting a former agent with a tweet about January 6 that was from the wrong Twitter account, and another calling the hearing “defund the police on steroids.”

The media was happy as always to give the Democrats an assist. Check out CNN’s spin:

MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace said that the FBI whistleblowers were “guilty of insubordination.” We’d missed that MSNBC “expert” Frank Figliuzzi also weighed in on the “self-proclaimed” whistleblowers. Check out that chyron: “Dems Question Witnesses’ Credibility at Hearing on FBI.” Figliuzzi was kind enough to explain how none of the witnesses was an actual “whistleblower” in the technical sense of the word:

Maybe do some journalism and look into the “self-proclaimed” whistleblower’s claims? Were they telling the truth? Has the FBI been politically weaponized? We know from the Durham report that it has, without question.

MSNBC could look into their claims, but their angle instead was to cover the Democrats calling their claims into question (with bogus tweets). The Twitter Files already showed how chummy the FBI was with Twitter 1.0, and MSNBC wouldn’t want to risk the FBI not leaking information to them.
