NPR to lay off 10 percent of its workforce 'even as general economy seems on mend'

As Twitchy has reported, Vice President Kamala Harris explained Wednesday why, thanks to the Biden administration, “folks have more money in their pocket to buy things” and take vacations. Harris and President Biden have been telling us since 2021 that the economy is doing great, but even that isn’t enough to save about 10 percent of the jobs at NPR.

David Folkenflik is NPR’s Brian Stelter; he even clutched his pearls when Fox News reported on Stelter’s poor ratings. Why, it seems like it was just a couple of months ago that Folkenflik was giving us the sad news of layoffs at NPR:

Remember when Twitter 1.0 would suspend you for posting “learn to code” in reply to a journalist? We’re pretty sure on Twitter 2.0 you can say “learn to build solar panels.”

They released a statement proudly saying they weren’t going to cover it because it was a “distraction.”

Remarkably, there are a lot of liberals in the replies who are saying NPR brought it on themselves by being so biased toward conservatives and that’s why they stopped pledging. NPR was out chasing those sweet right-wing dollars and look what it’s cost them.
