We’ve been hoping to see the body cam footage of the Paul Pelosi attack. There were so many conflicting reports: A third party opened the door for the cops (no, that wasn’t right); Pelosi himself opened the door to police and then was attacked with a hammer; and so on. Plus Pelosi’s attacker was in his underwear or something?
Maybe police footage will make us reconsider all of the conspiracy theories that were running through our heads as the police and press tried to get the story straight.

The Washington Examiner reports:
The police body camera footage of the attack on Paul Pelosi will be released to the public, per an order from a San Francisco judge.
The order came after a sustained effort from a press coalition, according to Politico. The coalition included the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Press Democrat, CNN, Fox News, CBS, ABC, NBC, and KQED, according to the Associated Press, which was also a member.
…
Pelosi was allegedly attacked with a hammer on Oct. 28 by David DePape, who was looking for his wife, then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). DePape has pleaded not guilty.

What do you expect we will see?

A lot of doctored footage

Plenty of time to professionally edit out the naughty bits.

I expect to be underwhelmed.

Probably some sort of reenactment that they made to make it look like he’s innocent. No judge in San Francisco would agree to these terms.

Not a damn thing.

I expect to see that the narrative is wrong

Exactly what that fired NBC reporter said happened.
— StuartSlesh (@SleshStuart) January 25, 2023
Nothing. Nancy paid for “professional exorcists” to wipe the “evil video”. And all other proof
— Kate Berger (@kateberger709) January 26, 2023
All the footage? Or just innocuous clips?
— regular guy (@regularguyguns) January 25, 2023
They've had time to make the video show what they want you to to see.
— Kent Lindstrom (@KLind62526) January 26, 2023
What will we see?
Probably a completely different story than what Nancy and Paul told everyone else.
— Kurt Michaelson 🇺🇸 (@kurtmichaelson) January 26, 2023
The opposite of what we’ve been told is what we’ll see.
— Tightpajamas68🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 (@tightpajamas) January 26, 2023
Nothing as shocking as my imagination can conjure.
— wnleon (Capitalism saves Twit ter) (@wnleon) January 25, 2023
Probably a recreation they made in lieu of the real footage.

Remember that Miguel Almaguer, the NBC News reporter who had reported the bizarre detail that Paul Pelosi had come to the door when the police showed up to his house but did not say or do anything suggesting that he was in any trouble and instead had backed away from the officers, was suspended and the segment memory-holed. Maybe Almaguer will be redeemed.
