As Twitchy reported earlier, President Joe Biden held an event today at which he got his fifth COVID-19 shot, assuring the American public that the COVID pandemic was not over despite what he said on “60 Minutes” about it being over. Biden was right back to the usual rhetoric: “If you get it, you’re protected. And if you don’t, you’re putting yourself and other people unnecessarily at risk.” But didn’t Biden catch the coronavirus after having been boosted twice? What does he mean by, “You’re protected”?

Later in the day, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made it clear that this COVID booster is an annual thing, like a flu shot.

I figured as I got older one day I would take the annual flu shot… now I don’t think I’ll be getting any shot unless absolutely necessary.
