Here’s some old news that’s being presented as new by the Daily Mail, because apparently, the paper has obtained some new emails confirming what we already knew. Back in September 2020, MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin tweeted that Donald Trump had “accused Hunter Biden of receiving millions from the wife of Moscow’s late mayor Yury Luzhkov.” Later that month, during a presidential debate, Trump asked Joe Biden what Hunter had done to deserve that wire transfer of $3.5 million, to which Biden answered, “None of that is true, it’s been totally discredited.”
The fact-checkers just took Biden’s word for it, but the Daily Mail is reporting Monday that new emails show the extent of the business dealings between Hunter Biden and Yelena Baturina:
Leaked emails reveal Hunter Biden's real estate company received a $40 MILLION investment from Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina, the billionaire widow of corrupt Moscow mayor, who also paid president's son $3.5million consulting feehttps://t.co/Whd4ecXiOK

So the $3.5 million wire transfer from Russia was a “consulting fee”:
Hunter Biden’s real estate company received a $40 million investment from a Russian oligarch, new emails reveal.
The relationship between the president’s son and Yelena Baturina, the billionaire widow of a corrupt Moscow mayor, has already been flagged as alarming by a Senate report after she mysteriously wired $3.5 million to a company linked to Hunter.
Baturina’s brother Viktor Baturin told DailyMail.com the money was “a payment to enter the American market.”
But DailyMail.com can now reveal that Hunter’s financial relationship with Baturina was far more extensive, with her firm investing $40 million in a real estate venture by Hunter’s company Rosemont Realty.
Of course, Joe Biden would say none of that was true, because he and his son never, ever talked about business together. Not ever.

A private citizen who has secret service detail, flys around the world conducting ‘business’ on Air Force 2 and speaks under the Presidential Seal.
Not your normal ‘private citizen’…

And of course absolutely nothing will be done about it. Now if that had been @DonaldJTrumpJr can you imagine the 24/7 hysteria?

There are a lot of Democrats in the replies saying, “But Trump!” Not a lot of people denying the story, though. It wouldn’t be so bad if a Senate committee hadn’t confirmed all of it, while Biden argued it had been “totally discredited.”
