Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers called a special session of the state legislature Wednesday to overturn the state’s 173-year-old abortion ban. As expected, though, Republicans gaveled in and then gaveled out. Plenty of protesters occupied the Capitol, though. We’d learned from the January 6 trials that parading in a Capitol building is against the law, but maybe that only counts for the one in Washington, D.C.

We don’t see any attempt by law enforcement to get them out.
