President Joe Biden did manage to get in a tweet commemorating the anniversary of D-Day just under the wire (8:45 p.m.), but he’s much more on the ball for other special days, like the Trans Day of Visibility, where he put out a video reassuring transgender citizens that he has their backs. Since Monday is a federal holiday in honor of Juneteenth, Biden is still at his beach house in Delaware where his family members keep trying to rescue him from reporters.
Biden doesn’t have any events on his schedule, but he did manage to put out a video for Juneteenth, telling us that the work is not done.
One year ago, I had the great honor of signing legislation to establish Juneteenth as a national holiday.
A day to celebrate, to educate, and to act. pic.twitter.com/HAOxXkibqQ

Nothing on Joe Biden’s schedule today for Juneteenth as he shares a pre-recorded video on social media https://t.co/euoqPGa3nr

Where is the video of him honoring D-Day on June 6th?

He got in a still photo … well, his staff did.
How thoughtful

He doesn’t want to interrupt his vacation.

He's still recovering from falling off the bike.

He's at home in Delaware practicing on his training wheels

Its prerecorded cause it probably took 50 takes for him stumble through it.

Bets on how many takes this video took?
— DedishVonDoom (@TehDark1) June 20, 2022
Took him 2 weeks to get that all in one take. He kept stumbling over his words, and forgetting where he was. Tried to wander off halfway through like 8 times per day

Has to be prerecorded. That way they can edit out his mistakes. Must have taken them days to make that

Pre-recorded pandering is efficient.

He was in a bike accident Saturday, let the man heal for God's sake.

Good grief.
It oughtn't be surprising, though… the man who campaigned almost exclusively from his basement is now a hollow suit, a papier-mâché POTUS.
At least he recorded a message, I suppose.

One hundred and fifty-six years ago, a rider came into Texas to announce that the slaves were free. And that rider's name… was Joe Biden.

Biden’s just glad he’s a federal employee and gets the day off.
