As Twitchy reported Monday, Pfizer was expected to ask the FDA as soon as today to approve an emergency use authorization for its COVID vaccine for children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years. Some parents were celebrating, while others were asking what exactly was the emergency? It will certainly come as good news to the Slate writer who wrote of the “agony” of parents with children under 5 who couldn’t get vaccinated yet.
ABC News has decided to talk to some of those parents who feel “left behind” and “forgotten.” Trust us, Pfizer hasn’t forgotten about you.
Children under five aren't able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 yet.

Another wave of these stories, and I get so angry what's being done to these families. Under-5s without a vax are safer than teenagers with a vax. There should be no masks, no asymptomatic exposure quarantines for them at all. https://t.co/QCU9qhbWbz

They have severe cases of CNNitis. There’s no known cure. Horrible.

Why would we vaccinate kids?
— Lahey (@NYKNYGNYYNYR) February 1, 2022
That’s because our president, Fauci & the legacy media have been telling them for 2 years now that getting covid is a death sentence & if they don’t die, they will probably kill someone else. It’s no wonder.

Not vaccinating my kid. Stop this. Not happening.
— Tony (@tony_vargas45) February 1, 2022
My God, you people are nuts. You must live on another planet. My kids had Covid, I kept them home for three days and back to school they went. Just like any other illness. This is the real "long Covid.". We have damaged people psychologically for a generation

They do not need it. They are not in a health crisis.

Why do they never talk to parents who are not worried about their kids and covid and do not want to vaccinate their toddlers??
— Wishes she didnt care about this stuff (@thismomisoverit) February 1, 2022
Because they’re the crazy ones.
Oh my and they actually videoed the moms screaming at the sky while wanting their kids vaccinated. No words.
— toomuch*** (@hateisevil) February 1, 2022
Everyone should report this as misinformation. Children under 5 are not in danger from COVID and do not need to be vaccinated. They are at less risk from COVID than any other serious disease.

These poor parents unable to use their own children as a shield for their own anxieties

They aren’t at risk. It’s a cult at this point.

If you're kids are healthy, THERE'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT
— Big_A (@asomer) February 1, 2022
Probably they are not a high risk stop pandering to the fear mongering.

It would be nice to get some trustworthy numbers about COVID-19 deaths, such as how many people were elderly and had multiple comorbilities.
Did you speak to any parents who aren't total neurotics? Because as the parent of a toddler, I'm infinitely more worried about the effect that covid hysteria will have on his childhood than a virus he's already had with no effect.
