White House has no plans to shift President Biden's messaging on economic issues despite declining approval ratings

As Twitchy reported this week, CNN’s Oliver Darcy wrote in his “Reliable Sources” newsletter that senior Biden administration officials had been holding briefings with major newsrooms “as they try to reshape economic coverage.” Poor Chief of Staff Ron Klain is out there tweeting about how the price of gas continues to fall even as the numbers show that inflation is surging at the fastest rate since 1982. Klain and President Biden are trying to get the word out about how the economy is booming, but the media has been failing him in getting the message across.

Now the New York Times is reporting that Biden sees a booming economy, and the White House has no plans to shift the president’s messaging on economic issues despite voters’ concerns over inflation.

“The president has struggled to sell strong growth and job gains,” they write.

This is good news for the midterms. Let’s hope the White House sticks to this winning strategy.
