We’re hearing reports that Iran, before a nationally televised address by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, aired a propaganda video that begins with footage of soldiers marching and then cuts to a missile launch that destroys the U.S. Capitol.

It reminds us of one Iran produced in January of 2020. That one showed a group of terrorists avenging the death of Qasem Soleimani by blowing up the Capitol dome before infiltrating the White House, where a terrorist lobbed a grenade into the Oval Office. (We think President Trump had already been killed by gunfire though.) We couldn’t place the footage they’d lifted to produce their masterpiece, but some said they’d pulled clips from “White House Down.”

Now they’re up to it again:

You can see the full video over at The Daily Mail, but it’s really not worth it. It’s really short. John Kerry and Ben Rhodes probably were sent advance DVDs.

The Washington Examiner reports:

The clip, which featured the “liberation of Jerusalem,” aired on Sunday before a nationally televised speech by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. It began with footage of soldiers marching, then cut away to a rocket launch, leading to the imagery of the Capitol being blown up.

This video was shown around the time diplomats from around the world began talks on April 30 about reinstating the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, which the Trump administration pulled the U.S. out of in 2018, calling it a “horrible, one-sided deal.” The previous administration also restored sanctions on Tehran that were lifted as a result of the initial deal made under former President Barack Obama.

Remember, this is our “deal partner,” and President Biden couldn’t wait to rejoin the Iran nuclear deal.
