Back when President Trump proposed the “1776 Project” as a counter to the thousands of schools that had adopted the New York Times’ 1619 Project into their curriculums, liberals deliberately misrepresented Trump’s desire to put patriotism back into history, alleging he was going to eliminate the teaching of slavery. We’re curious about what young people are being taught in history these days, because they’re certainly hearing the words “Jim Crow” thrown around a lot.
The filibuster which Sen. Barack Obama vigorously defended? President Biden and other Democrats now call it a “Jim Crow relic.” State voting reforms passed by Republicans? Biden said during his first press conference that they make “Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle.” And Georgia’s new election law? Biden says it’s “Jim Crow on steroids.”
Axios has a piece out today on Florida’s “controversial” anti-riot bill and reports, “Black lawmakers hate the bill, calling it a ‘heartless’ return to the Jim Crow era that would stifle dissent.”
Florida's controversial anti-riot bill would increase penalties for crimes committed during a violent protest, and it would create new felonies for organizing or taking part in demonstrations that turn violent. https://t.co/birXB7uk0C

Also, Gov. Ron DeSantis laid out the framework of the bill after 2020’s “largely peaceful protests.”
Just ridiculous. pic.twitter.com/Gwjs4KPWlo

New talking point just dropped

Wow. That’s the FIRST TIME anyone has made that comparison.

When everything is Jim Crow, nothing is Jim Crow.
— When The Levee Breaks (@eriContrarian) April 1, 2021
At this point we've left Jim Crow and Jim Eagle far behind. We're up to Jim Turkey Vulture.
— Sean Smith (@SMSDispHERO) April 1, 2021
Where’s Biden going to go now that he’s dropped both “Jim Eagle” and “Jim Crow on steroids”?
Jim Eagle is weeping man, c'mon man
— RoyCoup (@RoyCoup18) April 1, 2021
Everything Democrats oppose is Jim Crow, especially if it’s a law that demands any kind of accountability.
— Johnny Redpepper (@RedpepperJohnny) April 1, 2021
A "return to Jim Crow era" seems to be the new Democratic talking point when it comes to any legislation that Republicans implement.
— Jim Eagle – White Boy Summer 2021 (@EssentialBusin7) April 1, 2021
“Jim Crow”, “white supremacy”, “banned water at voting lines” are the Democrats talking points now. Every outlet has been INSTRUCTED to use it.
Just like “kids in cages” back in the days.
— Guru Ghantaal (@mananpatel41) April 1, 2021
Its now jim crow to stifle violent rioting.
— Marc (@Marcstout2) April 1, 2021
Everything is Jim Crow now. Anti rioting is not stifling dissent. If you can't get your voice heard without rioting then I don't know what to tell you

Everything I hate:
Out: Russian In: Jim Crow— red ice conservative (@redicecon) April 1, 2021
Alt-right Russians, move aside. You've been replaced by Jim Crow-era White Supremacists!
— I'm To Blame (@im2blame4) April 1, 2021
Jim Crow is the new Nazi.
— Kevin (@dkevinnixon) April 1, 2021
So the word "racist" has pretty much lost all meaning from over use and general misuse. "White supremacy" is losing its edge so now everyone is using some form of wording with "jim crow".
— Christibeans (@Christibeans) April 1, 2021
Attaching the ”racist!” label to anything Democrats don’t like got worn out so they’re trying out the “Jim Crow era” label on everything now.
— Carolina Brew ✏️✏️✏️ (@deeplens) April 1, 2021
Words simply have no meaning anymore
"racist, Nazi, fascist, voter suppression, Jim Crow era, equality, white supremacy"
have all either become completely devoid of meaning or (in many cases) been abused & forcibly transformed to represent the exact opposite of words themselves
— David Simon ?? (@Senator_Simon) April 1, 2021
Joe Biden is a relic of the Jim Crow era.
— Honey Ball (@HoneyBall1967) April 1, 2021
Truth.
There are Constitutional issues with parts of this bill that can be pointed out without invoking the raw emotional manipulation of Jim Crow.
But that would require nuance and rational thought.
— WuHan Solo – Herald of the Morally White (@MURedskn) April 1, 2021
It ain’t Jim Crow in any way, but it IS probably a constitutional violation to make it a felony to organize a demonstration that later “turns violent” (if indeed that is what the bill does).
— Pudge (@pudgenet) April 1, 2021
The only reason they use Jim Crow is to separate and divide us. I wasn’t alive during that era but I was taught about it by father. He fought next to black men to beat off white men during the riots. We are not racist but the Democrats are trying damn hard to make it so.
— ZenJen ?✝️????✝️??? (@ZenJenHan) April 1, 2021
Did we mention that the Navy’s recommended reading list for sailors includes “The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness”? Why yes, we did.
I bet if you asked liberals what – exactly – the 'Jim Crow Era' is they wouldn't be able to say anything about it but 'duh, racism'. The politicians know this. They're counting on the ignorance and the inference. We need to start challenging these people.
— AMIRIGHT? (@InHerRightMind) April 1, 2021
This new anti-rioting bill makes Jim Eagle on steroids look like Jim Pterodactyl on acid!
