As Twitchy reported, White House correspondent and CNN political analyst April Ryan — the same reporter who demanded photographic proof that Sarah Huckabee Sanders actually baked the pecan pie she tweeted about — tweeted that unnamed reporters had confirmed that President Trump had been booed at his “Celebrating America” event, although actually, it was a heckler who was being booed.
This is not true. There was a protester who shouted at Trump and was booed. https://t.co/6zOSCifHFi

Ryan deleted her original tweet and posted somewhat of a correction:
The original breaking boo tweet was deleted as reporters on the South Lawn who told of the booign and heckling did not see all of what happened on the other side of the lawn. After the tape was watched the heckler was booed not @realDonaldTrump

But … reporters had confirmed it, so it must have been true, right? Maybe the tape had been tampered with.
Weird how you never make mistakes that put POTUS in a good light. Almost like you’re shamelessly dishonest or something. https://t.co/vs4ktNMiUw

Funny how @AprilDRyan never made these mistakes with Obama, either.

Their consistent eagerness to publish negative but unverified stories about trump exposes the whole game.

@AprilDRyan A little confused about this journalism thingie – isn't the idea to collect and confirm the facts before reporting or tweeting them? Or is it report first and hope they're right. Can you please clarify?

The press in general has far too much confirmation bias; they hear a whisper which fits it and run with it. That's why so many of these unforced errors only go one way. So much for facts first.

Perhaps you should’ve watched the tape to confirm the story before tweeting out a false story to your 340k followers?? I mean maybe that’s just me… https://t.co/Z2DEOYc6Sa

April and her followers attacked me when I questioned her intelligence some time ago. Now I just realize she’s a dishonest liberal hack masquerading as a journalist who has no shame in reporting lies. https://t.co/qdjfHQr00w

It's crazy the amount of trash the media is constantly having to clean up. Mind you they create it, put it out. Get busted, and have to lay out retractions. It's ridiculous. Maybe stop jumping the damn gun so much. They know what they're doing, they just hope its not noticed

Oh really? You lying hack. The only reason you corrected it is because you found out there was tape. You knew it. https://t.co/ylDRpE82CU

You were so excited to spread your fake news crap to your little sheep. Try being better! https://t.co/4FVTbbgH84

A CNN contributor spreading fake news. Who would have guessed!

Maybe you all should stop lying to people in a desperate attempt to make the President look bad and just report the damn news https://t.co/1EdLNJG7kD
