As Twitchy reported, Twitter planned to host its own online town hall on guns Monday with (selected) survivors of the Parkland mass shooting; we say “selected,” of course, because Twitter somehow forgot to invite Kyle Kashuv, who nevertheless has met with the president and first lady and several lawmakers, including Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Louie Gohmert, and Orrin Hatch.
Where's my invite? (Insert sad face here) https://t.co/0cfN2XQ5UR

The show must go on with or without Kashuv, but it seems any diversity of thought would just have bogged down the conversation, which took some odd SJW turns into things that only someone like Shannon Watts certainly would have applauded.
Ryan Saavedra of The Daily Wire posted some video from the Q&A, and it looked like anti-NRA point man David Hogg is “disgusted” not only that Second Amendment advocates have free speech through association — he’s also disgusted that America is represented disproportionately by “rich white men” like himself.
David Hogg says it's "disgusting" that more minorities and women are not in government because "It creates this system where we have one line of thinking where it's a lot of rich white men like myself that are in politics." pic.twitter.com/wfERl0Lrov

OK … so Kyle Kashuv wasn’t invited to come on to talk about his ReachOut app or the Stop School Violence Act, but those who did show up found time to talk about white privilege.
David Hogg says white privilege is one of the biggest obstacles he's faced in his anti-gun agenda, says media wouldn't cover the incident the same way in a black community "no matter how well those people spoke."
Cameron Kasky says mass shootings like Parkland "happen everyday." pic.twitter.com/chKvSnUV32

Yep, mass shootings like Parkland happen every day … this one just happened to make the news, because the students were so darned well-educated and articulate and had such bright futures.
If a conservative politician, pundit, or activist made a grandiose allegation of the same gravity and scale as "mass shootings happen everyday" they'd be endlessly hounded for the data and the proof.
How much pushback did Kasky get? Let me guess…. https://t.co/ZskC6m4H3H

My lack of caring got further confirmed.
This shitshow just evolved from simple guns to a privilege wanking. https://t.co/X7bTYhVhkZ

When you don't have any logical arguments you spam with virtue signaling, intersectionality, and talking points. https://t.co/m8Pt7wTbAx

Hahaha. They want "diversity of ideas" yet they all follow the exact same narrative, have identical views & attack anybody who doesn't https://t.co/pFJYu2tHk9

Apparently feeling they were being taken *too* seriously outside of the extreme-left, progressive media bubble, the Parkland Media Complex has decided to go the whole Hogg on SJW messaging. I, for one, support this decision whole-heartedly. #LetThemSpeak https://t.co/ceU9Icu1Ww

I can't wait until Hogg is flogging himself in the streets to virtue signal how evil his implicit whiteness is. https://t.co/OZk5GGK2Ro

"Lower socioeconomic communities; black communities."
David equates poverty and social standing with skin color and that is really terribly sad.
It's also a tenet of progressivism.

@davidhogg111 you obviously know very little about government throughout the US. From local through national level the US has a widely diverse membership in government. Some minorities are even a higher percentage in government than they are as a percentage of the population. https://t.co/hGZTomOjlg

We need to defund all public schools immediately, right now, cold turkey. How much proof do we need that they are systematically destroying the minds of our kids? Stop throwing even more good money at the unspeakably bad. https://t.co/LFhmna5b3f
