As Twitchy reported Friday, MSNBC host Chris Hayes of all people called for a “real reckoning” with the charges against Bill Clinton. That cloud has been hanging over the Democrats for decades, and lightning strikes whenever Democrats try to claim that the GOP is the party of sexual harassment and impropriety.
This tweet from ThinkProgress editor Ian Millhiser is well over a year old, but someone on Saturday dug into his archives and revived it for discussion considering the current environment:
Number of Americans who are suffering because of Bill Clinton's penis: 0

You should do that math again https://t.co/BNqZ6zoxr3

How can someone be so out of touch to think this is actually a good thing to say & then have the lack of sense to put it out into the world. https://t.co/rxT6frqnCJ

Juanita Broadrick disagrees and this is exactly what I mean when I say the Left should just just the hell up. The Right has much to fix, no doubt, but the Left is the original silencers of abused women. https://t.co/TIDMcvdqCC

Leaving Clinton's other rape/sexual misconduct allegations aside, there's no denying his confirmed affair with Monica Lewinsky caused her to suffer massive personal humiliation. Shame on you. https://t.co/skFZaa3s3E https://t.co/qEjTCeZucM

Two years ago, Ian Millhiser tweets out a perfect example of what feminists are talking about when we say there's a misogyny problem on the left, too, and two years later, the internet is finally calling him out for it.
Don't be like Ian. Misogyny from the left is still misogyny https://t.co/P35fcx3B4K
