The Left Who Cried 'Nazi!'

meme

Everyone knows the fable The Boy Who Cried Wolf. A naughty shepherd Boy who keeps screaming 'wolf!' and sending his fellow villagers into a panic.

Then one fateful day, an actual wolf shows up, and the Boy calls for help ... but no one comes. The villagers are fed up with the false alarms and have started ignoring his cries for help.

The wolf eats the Boy. A harsh lesson is learned.

This is a lesson we used to teach to children. But somewhere along the line, we stopped teaching our kids those cautionary tales in favor of telling kindergarteners that gender is fluid and Heather has two mommies. Seems to be a mistake.

The Left in this story is the Boy. And we're on the third or fourth iteration of them crying 'wolf' about the Right. Prior iterations of this included 'racist,' 'bigot,' and 'homophobe/transphobe.' With every single one of those words, the Left threw it about like candy at an Independence Day parade. Everything was racist. Then it was bigoted. Then it was homophobic.

Like the villagers, normies started tuning out those words, rendering them devoid of any real meaning.

This time the word is Nazi.`

The Left has called the Right -- from Rush Limbaugh to Ronald Reagan to George W. Bush to Donald Trump -- some form of Nazi for as long as I've been alive.

Now, when that accusation is hurled at us, we shrug.

For years, we did that. We said we weren't Nazis, and the comparison was insulting to actual victims of Nazi atrocities. But that wasn't enough for the Left.

They continued to insist we were Nazis because they said so. A denial, to the Left, was somehow 'proof' we were really Nazis. They wanted us to be Nazis, regardless of what we said and did. No denial was going to change their minds.

These people have turned a harmless ad for blue jeans into a two-week meltdown over 'Nazi dog whistles' because Sydney Sweeney is attractive and White.

So people just ... gave up on caring. They gave up on engaging. Just like we did with the other pejoratives the Left's hurled at us over the year.

On top of all that, it's hard to take the accusations seriously when the Left has spent the past two years marching in support of Hamas, a terrorist organization committed to finishing what Hitler started. It wasn't members of the Right who showed up at a recent town hall hosted by Wisconsin Republican Rep. Bryan Steil; it was Leftists. One of whom did an open Nazi salute in 'protest' of Steil.

I notice the Left wasn't calling for his head on a proverbial platter. If Right-wing social media hadn't pointed it out, we wouldn't have known about it at all.

So, once again, the Left is its own worst enemy (and don't get me wrong -- I'm fine with that). Instead of debating the ideas on their merits, the Left chose ad hominem attacks against their political opponents to try and turn public sentiment against the American Right.

It hasn't worked, and the Democrats are now enjoying record-low approval ratings, a leaderless party, and a rough road into the 2026 midterms.

Perhaps, as they keep losing, the Left will one day realize what they should have missed was calling us Nazis in the first place and not the days when we played their little games.
