A week ago, I talked about how the Left exploits our suffering for their political gain, and that is most evident in their rhetoric on abortion.
Which is why I knew the second this post popped into my timeline that it was -- once again -- another lie:

Why? Because she put the tissue in the garbage.
They’re charging her with “desecration of human remains”
This is where abortion bans lead.
To the criminalization of pregnancy & total control of women.
And I was correct.
A South Carolina woman is behind bars after she allegedly gave birth to a stillborn baby last month and then disposed of the remains in a dumpster.
WMBF reported that the Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Byresha Williams on Thursday and charged her with desecration of human remains.
According to the sheriff’s office, Williams gave birth to a stillborn baby between June 17 and 18 and then put the remains in a plastic bag. She then allegedly disposed of them in a dumpster at a hotel on West Palmetto Street near I-95 in the Florence area.
According to other reports, Williams was about 20 weeks pregnant and gave birth to a stillborn baby. She then threw the baby's remains in a hotel dumpster.
She was arrested under South Carolina laws that prohibit desecration of a corpse, specifically SC Code § 16-17-600 (2024), which reads in part:
(A) It is unlawful for a person wilfully and knowingly, and without proper legal authority to:
(1) destroy or damage the remains of a deceased human being;
(2) remove a portion of the remains of a deceased human being from a burial ground where human skeletal remains are buried, a grave, crypt, vault, mausoleum, Native American burial ground or burial mound, or other repository; or
(3) desecrate human remains.
A person violating the provisions of subsection (A) is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than five thousand dollars or imprisoned not less than one year nor more than ten years, or both.
This had nothing to do with pro-life legislation or abortion in general.
But the Left never lets a crisis go to waste, and they don't care if they have to trivialize miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, and stillbirths in the process. And I suppose that if you're comfortable with the unfettered murder of unborn children, you have no qualms about lying to facilitate those horrors.
The Left cannot be intellectually honest about abortion laws because abortion laws don't harm women. What's scary about this is the Left wants abortion laws to harm women, so they have the 'proof' they need to repeal those abortion laws.
And the second that happens, women like Kelly won't care at all about women who are harmed by abortions. Those women will be ignored, swept under the rug, or told to shut up lest their stories of physical and emotional trauma harm the Left's beloved abortion. They did it to the victims of Kermit Gosnell, and they'll do it to future victims of the abortion industry.
It's painfully evident that Leftists want women to end up being arrested because it then gives them grounds to post wildly misleading lies about miscarriages and other pregnancy complications. That, in turn, will drive more women to break laws, get arrested, and be used as political fodder for abortion-loving Leftists.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
I note there isn't one Democrat with the moral or intellectual honesty to call this out, and to hold Leftists accountable for the harm they're causing women by constantly lying about abortion. They believe it'll help them win elections, and what's a few dead women when the White House is on the line?
Until the Democrats and their Leftist base stop lying about and to women on the abortion issue, they should be stripped of the self-imposed title of 'The Party of Women.'
They're not.
