Sickening. Karate Kid’ Ralph Macchio retweeted that tweet posted by ‘Entourage’ creator Doug Ellin, which pretty much sums it all up. As Twitchy reported, Rolling Stone magazine let its moral bankruptcy show by glamorizing terror with a Tiger Beat-style cover of the Boston bombing suspect.

Pro wrestler Gregory Shane Helms agrees.

While some terror groupies grossly thought the cover wasn’t swoony enough, the sane rightly called out the magazine. Actor Ralph Macchio joined the ranks of sanity, which include Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, David Draiman of Disturbed, television host Carson Daly, MLB pitcher Brad Ziegler and citizens across Twitter, who have called for a boycott.

The word is getting out: CVS has now confirmed that it will not sell the issue it its stores.

Update: Walgreens joins CVS.

Ralph knows all too well….. “For person with no forgiveness in heart, living is worse punishment than death”…… but after 3 months I am not even close to being ready to forgive!….. Very bad move for RS

  • crosspatch

Despicable culture trolling is all it is. The reaction to this cover has probably brought that magazine more ad revenue from their website than they have seen all year.

    • dcnj

pfft last ten years…RS is a joke has been for sometime.

      Get in the coffin!

  • CSmith

Also, “fell into radical Islam”? As if he was just tripping along his merry way and was waylaid by big, bad, Radical Islam. Yikes. This grown person made choices.

    • William2010

      C Smith,
Clever observation … “fell into radical Islam?”
That is similar to the statement “I don’t know how I became pregnant. It was an accident.”
Like a man falling out of the 50th floor of a high rise and landing on top of the woman, and “accidentally” getting her pregnant.
Or, maybe she tripped, or had an ice cream cone and it fell into the bath tub while she was soaking in a relaxing, warm, bubbly bath.
      Yeah! That’s what happened.

    • reving19

Yes. the tagline sounds like nothing was his fault.

    • robcrawford2

Kinda like slipping on a cow pie.

      • alanstorm

Except it’s harder to clean off.

    • Jim

      They blow up so fast.

      • kaspiahn

HA HA. Good one. RS is a disgusting rag.

    • IronButterfly

All unsold copies are going to be shipped to Islamabad. Will sell like hot cakes… well maybe like whatever mush they eat over there.

  • Cajun

…as if not trying to glamorize this POS. Hey folks, what part of “popular and promising” is not as good as whatever “radical islam” has to offer. So, popular and promising student, (as if to imply he had the world by the horns), now turns into a child murdering, innocent life taking, muslim POS animal. I guess the article should be basically saying that someone with a bright future, does what he did in the name of islam, is basically nothing but a freakin’ dumbass, pure idiot, fool, punk, and should be hung up by his toes and burned alive, right?

    • TDS

To a pubescent teen, 72 virgins could be pretty appealing…

      • Cajun

you know I left one thing out in my rant, I don’t believe enough is being made or said about the white POS girl married to the idiot brother that the car tire decorated his face. You know the girl that had “terrorista” for the license plate. I think she was at least part of the conspiracy. If not, and she was married to this fool and she didn’t know, then she needs to be convicted of aggravated dumbass.

        • TrueBlue73

I don’t believe she had that license plate. Think it was one of the kids that tried to destroy evidence. I’ll give the wife somewhat of a pass if she was not involved and unaware. The A-hole brother never worked and had her out working 80 hours a week while he built bombs with his toddler in the house. At least the toddler has a better chance at a normal life thanks to the POS on the cover of RS.

      • Grandma HeadInjury

I remember those years. Hell, one virgin was pretty darn appealing…and nowhere near as scarce as nowadays…

      • sockrayblue

72 male virgins, only “tail gunned” once.

  • BadGirloftheNorth

Holy Crap! Now even the iconically all American Rolling Stones Magazine is making excuses for this scumbag. They have gone from beer drinkers to KoolAid-ers and that is really really sad.

    • Robert Hoff

…”iconically all American Rolling Stones Magazine”…I sure hope this was satire…Rolling Stone has been a muck racking rag appealing to the underbelly of ‘American’ readers for as long as I have known of it…Rolling Stone has made the truly ‘yellow’ journalism of earlier ‘journalists’ pale with envy for so many years…

      • TomJB

Yep. It was a lib rag back in the late 80s when I was in high school – and I was a lib at the time and could even tell.

    • BayushiZero

They haven’t been “American” in a long damned time.

They’ve been publishing the ongoing stupidity of Paul Krugman for more than a decade.

People don’t get more unAmerican than Paul Krugman.

  • tops116

Gee, it’s almost as if the al Qaeda demographic isn’t worth pursuing.

  • LtColO

Now, if only people could connect the dots that this is the end result of the Left’s worldview.

    • KansasGirl

And we better like it or else!

    • JenB

Exactly. I fear too many have forgotten, or never learned, how to connect said dots.

    • Dumbfounded

      Best post award!!!!

    • Corey Dennison

      Thread over. You win!

    • BeautifulAmerica

Wow, do you ever have that right! Salutes to Lt Col.

    • Hepolito Flores

Yep, fully indoctrinated at the Joseph Stalin University.

  • Andy

I’m not a “tweeter”–or whatever you call it–but I’m a little confused as to why Ralph Macchio gets the headline for retweeting what’s not even his own statement. Why not just report on the original statement and its author…?

    • ObamaFail

Maybe one of his followers was made aware of the statement by Macchio when he retweeted it, and that follower shared it with Twitchy. That’s my guess anyway.

    • Thomas Cake

He was showing his agreement with the original statement, dumbass! Way to get off the point here.

      • Kristine

Right. And calling someone names for asking a question is so very “on point”. *eye roll*

    • Ty Mcwilliams

has to do with number of followers and name recognition. the author has 22k, ralph has 125k.

      • Jeff Coil

True, if they had placed the original authors name in the headline, nobody would have clicked on the link.

    • Lolly

I think it is because Ralph Macchio graced many a Tiger Beat/16/Teen Beat cover back in his younger days (though he is still very adorable) and they made the connection to him because this RS cover is very Tiger Beat-esque.

  • Jake Midkiff

    Wax on….Wax off ! NICE !

    • Jessica

      Stay gold Ponyboy :)

    • Hepolito Flores

      Good job, Macchio San.

  • Magnifico

If it were a conservative on the cover, Rolling Stone would pick the most unflattering picture ever taken.

  • Spinmamma

It is mind boggling that the left, e.g. WaPo, cannot connect the dots that a chance at fame and notoriety as martyrs is the life blood of the recruitment efforts for terrorists. (Well, besides the 72 virgins.) Even our home grown school shooters and bombers are looking for their 15 minutes of fame. If gun manufacturers are supposed to be held responsible for the misuse of their product, shouldn’t RS be held responsible for inciting more acts of terror by giving a mass murderer a beautiful , and sympathetic, mag cover.?

    • Dumbfounded

Spinmamma- You need to read David Draiman’s rant on this. He straight up lays the next domestic terrorist act/workplace violence episode by some zealot extremist at their feet. And he’s 100% right.

      • Spinmamma

Thanks. Just did. He had a great, and very articulate, rant.

      • BeautifulAmerica

Wow! Excellent rant. Wish I knew how to tell him so.

  • $8203344

Just one issue ? They should ban it altogether. Compare this to the reaction to Paula Deen’s 30 yr old comments.

  • LegalizeShemp

And once again we see that liberalism is a mental disorder, and not an interesting one, a very, very dangerous one.

  • Mickey Kovars

Radical chic is alive and well.

    • TocksNedlog

If “chic” is an ethnic pronunciation of “sh*t” then I’m right there with ya.

  • John Segundo

We’re being played for suckers… I’ll grant you the two brothers are scumbags, the elder may have murded several people in cold blood, but they are fall guys in the Boston Bombings. As long as we are outraged about this Rock Star BS we aren’t talking about the FBI’s role in all this, the witnesses who have since died mysteriously(including two FBI agents.), the mysterious Saudi Nationals who happened to be at the scene of the Bombings, etc.

  • fireandreamitchell

Someone should send a bunch of copies to Terry Jones so he can burn them.

  • Bemani Dog

I like Mo Rocca’s take on it. “Tamil Tiger Beat”? Oh snap!

  • Ironhawk86

    You’re the best
Nothing’s gonna ever keep ya down

  • Gary

I’d love to boycott Rolling Stone but I wouldn’t buy or read that yellow dog for fifty years. They wouldn’t miss me.

    • BayushiZero

Indeed. Though I haven’t bought or read that rag in more than 36 years (PS I’m 36 years old). I refuse to ever partake in a publication that publishes anything by Paul Krugman.

  • Roger Cooper

Remember they also had Charles Manson on the cover in 1970

  • $22639970

Rolling Stone has never been good for anything aside from a poor substitute for an old Sears catalog.

  • Conrad2010

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Walgreens will not be selling this issue of Rolling Stone magazine.

    Neither will CVS.

  • lainer51

R.S. has sucked for the past 20 years, only dolts read it anyway.

  • AmericanMom

Proof the liberals at Rolling Stone have no respect for the people who died and were severely injured by this anti-American terrorist. May it swiftly go out of business.

    • Dumbfounded

      Do any of them?

  • objectivefactsmatter

He wasn’t failed by his religion. Who could ever come up with that idea? What Islam-o-phobe suggested that?

    • Joe Dokes

Yep. According to his religion he was a star student and an example to be followed.

  • Victoria Longyhore

Why would they give such a horrible person the publicity he destroyed many lives killed some and mentally hurt so many people he didn’t think of his actions or if he did he didn’t care we should take a few of his toe fingers and maybe an arm and one leg let him love like that he’s evil has no passion or love or another Human at all

    • Joe Dokes

“Why would they give such a horrible person the publicity he destroyed many lives killed some and mentally hurt so many people”

For the same reason prostitutes fornicate with strangers.

  • mpg71396

The sad part is that Rolling Stone is loving the publicity. They couldn’t care less that most of the population would be outraged. In fact, they want that to happen. Bunch of miserable leftists. If they want to be even more provocative, how about them put a picture of Muhammed playing a guitar on their cover. Would they have the cajones to do that? I think not. They’d be afraid that somebody would bomb their offices.

    • Ty Mcwilliams

problem is they’ve even outraged their fellow leftists

      • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

        If you saw the trolls on that first story.. I’d say not really. One or two came out of the woodwork.. Jawamax 8<{D}

  • Laura Word

I agree with all of them but what the heck does Ralph have to do with any of it?

    • Kaya Hund

I’d rather read Ralph’s tweets than Kathy Griffin’s.

  • BeeKaaay

More proof that leftwingwackos are bloodthirsty beyond belief.

Here is a leftist magazine glorifying a bloodthirsty terrorist.

  • Ty Mcwilliams

Part of their decision to run it may have been the adage, ‘any publicity is good publicity’. Hopefully it turns out to be more like, ‘final nail in the coffin’.

  • Beth Rose-Acor

Applaus to Walgreens for taking a stand! If you have the chance, support them and thank them!

  • Kristine

People always remember the names of terrorists, mass murderers, and serial killers.

Most people couldn’t recall the name of a victim if you gave them a million bucks.

  • Guest

I can only read some idiots out there still read Rolling Stone. Until now.

  • Semper Fi

Let’s hope that’s enough to finish this dishrag mag forever.

  • Debra Wilson

This ‘rolling stone’, stopped ‘rolling’ long ago, and gathered enough moss so it can throw in the ugly, frayed towel, and shut down their ‘printing presses’ once and for all!!!

  • neoface

Maybe Bruce Springsteen can dedicate a song to Dzhokhar while he is Ireland.

    • ♥♥Pony Training Pinkneck ♥♥

I never liked Bruce Springsteen anyway…he’s funny lookin when he sings n his voice never was all that great…old man needs to shut up n sit his “boss” arse down…

      • Joe Dokes

And all this time I thought it was only me who got nothing out of his music.

    • Doreen Beisel

Maybe he can do the USA a favor and stay in Ireland

  • grayjohn

Rolling Stone has outlived its usefulness and relevance. I hope this puts them out of business.

  • ♥♥Pony Training Pinkneck ♥♥

Kudos to @ralphmacchio….always has been n always will be a class act…family man n all.God bless u Mr Macchio.

Wenner is finally getting recognized for being a trolling idiot

  • Richard_L_Kent

“Gonna buy five copies for his mother.” So she can read them in the next cell block. /spit

  • putthehammerdown

Let’s see if any of these ‘Tweeters’ feel the same way in 6 months and refuse to deal with R S, in any way, shape or form.
    Any bets?

  • VotingForZombieReagan2016

Thumbs up to Mo Rocca as well. I love his “My Grandmother’s Ravioli” show.
