Rep. Eric Swalwell is reportedly close to announcing a run for president with a campaign that will focus on gun control:

To help get things off to a high kick start, Rep. Swalwell has shared what he says is a voicemail threat his office received. Even though the caller didn’t identify himself or any affiliations, Swalwell somehow seems to know what group motivated the person:
I'm not afraid of this guy. I'm not afraid of the NRA. I'm not afraid. No fear. #EndGunViolence pic.twitter.com/KcB1FRKnKR

Dana Loesch gave Rep. Eric “nuke ’em” Swalwell’s ridiculous insinuation a nuking of her own:
Where in the world do you get that this nut job is the NRA? Another incredibly reckless accusation from someone who once said they’d nuke law-abiding gun owners if they didn’t turn in their firearms. https://t.co/EekiNzK4u6 https://t.co/pQ9MrsPmrN

By Swalwell’s logic am I to blame every gun control advocate for the written descriptive and graphic “Silence of the Lambs” type of threats sent to me to scare me from supporting 2A rights requiring mail screening? Let me know, @RepSwalwell .

We’re guessing that’s not how Swalwell’s “rules” work:
The 'eff? Why would anyone think that's an NRA member?

It’s not about being factual, it’s about pushing a narrative.

It’s just slanderous to take one crazy caller and say “look! I’m not scared of the NRA!”
— Ian G Haworth (@ighaworth) April 4, 2019
I'm not convinced its a real call.
