Dana Loesch: Stop overreacting to Todd Akin's comments

This afternoon, Twitter was buzzing over comments made by Rep. Todd Akin, the GOP nominee for the U.S. Senate in Missouri.  The Twitter response to Akin’s remarks  has been overwhelmingly negative.  Even some Republicans are calling for Rep. Akin to drop out of the Senate race with the hope that he can be replaced by another Republican candidate.

At this point, even Aurora, Col., shooting suspect James Holmes probably has more supporters than Rep. Akin.

Conservative radio host and commentator Dana Loesch, however, is never one to go along with the pack, and she isn’t ready to throw Akin under the bus.

She acknowledges that it was “not the best statement,” but says that “some are stretching it majorly.”

Loesch, who resides in Missouri, is well-respected on the Right, and with good reason.  Akin is fortunate to have her support.
