'Freakin' unbelievable'! Politico writer DEFENDS Kim Jong-un after Trump's #UNGA speech

At his speech before the U.N. General Assembly today, Donald Trump took some time to denounce the evil North Korean regime and its brutal dictator:

Trump denounced North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, saying his country “threatens the entire world with unthinkable loss of life.”

He praised the U.N. for imposing economic sanctions on Pyongyang, but he also said if the regime continues to threaten the United States and its allies and to destabilize East Asia the U.S. is prepared to take action.

“We will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,” Trump said. “If the righteous many don’t confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph,” he added, before repeating a nickname he gave Kim on Twitter. “Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself.”

And that’s got Politico’s chief international affairs columnist Susan Glasser feeling a little bent out of shape:

It’s a pretty safe bet that any North Korean who would make fun of Kim Jong-un would end up vanished or dead … is Kim really the one whose feelings you should be worried about here?

If you're going to be morally self righteous, at least defend someone that ISN'T Kim Jong Un

N.korea already threatened U.S.. If a conflict arises, you have to go all the way with it. They, and the world, need to know U.S. resolve.
