As Twitchy reported, yesterday, IRS official Lois “I Plead the Fifth” Lerner was placed on administrative leave. Paid administrative leave. And all she had to do, apparently, to score that sweet deal was refuse to resign:
Sen. Grassley stmt: "My understanding is the new acting IRS commissioner asked for Ms. Lerner’s resignation, and she refused to resign."

Grassley says his "understanding" is new acting IRS commish asked for Lerner resignation +she refused. Put on administrative leave instead.

Grassley: The..acting #IRS commissioner asked for Ms. Lerner’s resignation & she refused to resign. She was then put on administrative leave

So, the moral of the story is: preside over government corruption, dig in your heels, and get a paid vacay?
Why is Lois Lerner still being paid? She wouldn't resign so why pay her? She has a history of partisan hackery. #draintheswamp

If this is indeed how it happened, it hardly seems fair, does it?
As far as we know, Lerner still has to answer to a higher authority — someone who can pull the plug on this farcical “paid administrative leave” business.

Exactly. And then when they’re through giving her the boot:
IRS's Lerner Placed On Paid Vacation… and Refuses to Resign! Call her back up & if she refuses to testify, put her in JAIL! Enough games!
