Thankfully, we’ve still got more than a year until we have to worry about the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Next summer’s gonna be a hot mess, y’all.
But for the Democrats, at least, it’s gonna be even hotter and even messier. Because they’ve reportedly officially settled on the location for their convention, and they’ve picked a veritable hell of a place to bring the stars of the Democratic Party together.

Inside the DNC, Chicago was viewed as the favorite b/c of appeal of its venue — the United Center — its stock of hotel suites and restaurants as well as the political and financial force of Gov. J.B. Pritzker.
