When Joe Biden was sworn in as President, this is the oath he took:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
When it comes to the “faithfully execute” part of the oath, he’s done a pretty terrible job. But when it comes to the “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States” part … he’s also done a pretty terrible job. Which really should come as no huge surprise when you consider that he doesn’t actually seem to know what’s in the Constitution.
Here he is during his speech today on his commitment to fighting for the “right” of women to abort their unborn children (the same speech after which he got a little too close for some young women’s comfort):

Joe Biden sure hasn’t given us any reason to believe he’s read the Constitution. Not based on what he’s done since he took office and definitely not based on his pro-abortion arguments.
Here’s the Ninth Amendment, just as a reminder:
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
The Ninth Amendment does not explicitly say “that there’s a right to privacy.” So there’s that. There’s also the fact that Biden is taking quite a few intellectual leaps in order to argue that more restrictive pro-life laws would restrict the right to privacy.
