A former police officer opened fire at people in a child care center and again as he fled the scene in his car. All told, at least 36 people were killed.

A witness at the scene said that they had locked the door to the building when they saw the suspect approaching with a handgun, but that he shot through it. “I didn't think he would kill children, but he shot at the door and shot right through it.” https://t.co/CzJVfrqVPv

It’s an absolutely horrific story. And, in an absolutely horrific twist, March For Our Lives is attempting to use the murderous rampage to argue that the responsibility ultimately lies with the United States:
Today, Thailand experienced its deadliest mass shooting by a lone gunman. We are sickened that more & more CHILDREN are forced to live this horror.
This is a global poison & we can’t help but wonder: what example has the U.S. set for the world? We must all be better than this. https://t.co/q6NGtXUVm9

You’d think that March For Our Lives, formed in the aftermath of the Parkland shooting, would know better than most that it’s wrong to dance on the graves of mass shooting victims. But they’re just as shamelessly morally reprehensible as the rest of the gun control proponents and advocacy groups. You can almost feel the glee with which they greeted news of the shooting in Thailand, seeing it as a golden opportunity to push their agenda here in the U.S.
March For Our Lives blames US for mass shooting by disgraced police officer in Thailand. https://t.co/XU3L4QRQvS

It’s legitimately disgusting what March For Our Lives is doing. What they do on a regular basis.
of all the choices you could make today you did this one
— John Buffington III (@RaoulDukeHST) October 6, 2022
They did that one.
Then why do you support gun control legislation that exempts police?
— Machiavellian Eyebrows (@cemeterygunblob) October 6, 2022
Who are they blaming for the part of the rampage that involved *stabbing* adults and children to death?
— Kimberly Ross (@SouthernKeeks) October 6, 2022
That’s right, some of the victims were, in fact, stabbed to death:

Where’s the March For No Knives on this?
I look forward to your upcoming march in Thailand.

Wtf even is this tweet?

It’s absolute garbage, is what it is.
Parting note for March For Our Lives, not that they’d ever acknowledge it:
This is secondary, but Thailand has every gun restriction that March For Our Lives advocates. No gun-rights protections. Gun purchase permits with subjective checks that include income & "personal conduct" on top of criminal records. A national registry. https://t.co/45A8c3boCZ pic.twitter.com/PsepeSSSFW
