Yesterday, CNN managed to make a few headlines with their headline about Joe Rogan.
This is deadass a real thing CNN published. pic.twitter.com/CV35R69Ach

More than 24 hours later, we still haven’t managed to wrap our heads around that one. We’d ask what they were thinking, but there’s really no possible explanation that could ever make sense. Except maybe for “CNN is insane.”
Anyway, we believe it’s important to give credit where credit is due, and CNN should get props for eventually changing their headline:

They do not, however, get props for taking several hours to do it. And they definitely don’t get props for the January 6 headline they had in the first place.
CNN taken to the woodshed by the public over its outrageous headline changes it.https://t.co/cP3YEitkya

There’s no way that CNN changed their headline because they felt bad or stupid; they just got tired of being dunked on. Given the chance, they’d write that same January 6 headline over and over and over again.

But CNN makes it look effortless.
Send me a link to an article where they talk about the accumulative danger of journalists who think ‘my hyperbole is risky, but it’s for the greater good people!’
