Last week, the illustrious United States State Department took some time to celebrate International Pronouns Day.
Today on International Pronouns Day, we share why many people list pronouns on their email and social media profiles. Read more here on @ShareAmerica: https://t.co/gWhoItvGvo.

This week, their priorities are still very much in order. That’s why yesterday, they not only celebrated another important day with a tweet, but spokesman Ned Price actually gave a lovely little speech on the State Department’s behalf.
We hope you all had a very happy Intersex Awareness Day, everyone:
.@StateDeptSpox on Intersex Awareness Day: As @POTUS and @SecBlinken have made clear, it is the policy of the United States to pursue an end to violence and discrimination on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or sex characteristics. pic.twitter.com/kJPOLhWNch

How about the United States’ policy with regard to tackling geopolitical threats? Would the State Department be more proactive if we were to tell them that intersex people are at risk, too?

Did anyone know about the evacuation process in Afghanistan? Is it stops for now?

Honestly, the State Department’s “Intersex Awareness Day” spiel would come off as a lot less irritating if they at least gave the impression that they care about the issues that the State Department is supposed to care about.
It's like you're trolling people at this point.

One could certainly be forgiven for thinking so.
