Robert Reich wants to know 'what does it say about the system' that 52 senators can stand in the way of legislation supported by 48 senators

As obstacles to Joe Biden’s utterly, painfully unaffordable $3.5 trillion spending plan, Democratic Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema aren’t just thorns in their Democratic colleagues’ sides.

They’re also lodged firmly in Robert Reich’s craw.

And according to Reich, they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it:

What does it say about the system that the system is working the way it’s supposed to work?

Poor Robert seems to be baffled by a lot of things.
