Back in March 2020, “Young Turks” alumna and NBC podcaster Emma Vigeland deleted a tweet about New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo:
Alright, folks. I’m deleting this tweet because I don’t want this to be seen as an endorsement of Andrew Cuomo’s politics, which I’ve been enormously critical of. I meant it as a horse race point but could have worded it better.
I maintain that he’d defeat Trump in November. pic.twitter.com/4dG02GmKxX

Indeed, Vigeland has been pretty consistently critical of Andrew Cuomo. But the deleted tweet has been getting more attention recently in light of Cuomo’s downfall.
And that’s apparently got Vigeland to thinking:
I've been thinking… These folks want to crucify me for my 2020 Cuomo tweet, very similar to how Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross. The only difference is that there's no cross involved with me (not yet at least). Anyone else seeing any similarities?

… but who can tell these days? Especially when you consider other Emma Vigeland hot takes. Like this one:
So maybe she doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt on the Jesus-comparison thing.

Excuse me, sir, do you have a moment to talk about our saviouress, Emma Vigeland? She was crucified on Twitter for our sins. pic.twitter.com/q6aZbRpnSO

This is all very weird.
This is cute. No one pays attention to Scam Seder and the Sorority Resort anymore so they make you come out here and say things like “I’m a martyr! I’m Jesus!” for notoriety. I love it.

(“Scam Seder” refers to Sam Seder, host of the “Majority Report” podcast that Vigeland is on.)
You hit the nail on the head Brian… or rather, the nail to the cross

It sounds like she’s trolling. It can be so tough to know for sure when you’re dealing with insane people. And Emma Vigeland definitely has a few screws loose.
So… you're not going to delete this? https://t.co/yOugjINKCZ

Hey, Jesus never deleted his tweets. Why should Emma?
