'Terrible': Will Ilhan Omar be confronting the 'hate and bigotry' of this New Zealand mosque chairman? [video]

As Twitchy told you, Ilhan Omar is dedicating her Twitter feed to day to complaining about AIPAC and Israel’s obsession with her (and no, the irony is not lost on us). Included in her thread was this tweet about the importance of calling out hate and bigotry on all sides:

In that case, we can’t wait to see her confront the hate and bigotry emanating from the chairman of a mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand:

We’d love to get her thoughts on this:

More:

On Saturday, a group called Love Aotearoa Hate Racism organised a rally for the victims in Auckland’s Aotea Square.

Ahmed Bhamji, chairman of the Mt Roskill Masjid E Umar, gave a speech questioning where the gunman got his funding from. He said he suspected it came from “Mossad” and “Zionist business”.

Newshub contacted Bhamji, who accused Newshub of singling him out.

“I made a statement, a lot of other people made statements,” he said.

“Mossad is up to all these things,” he said. “When I talk about Mossad, why should the Jews be upset about it? Give me an answer?”

Oh.

Gross.

You can’t shame the shameless anti-Semites.

It’s certainly not surprising given the increasingly public displays of anti-Semitism around the world — and by some of the Democratic Party’s rising stars. Bhamji’s certainly not the first anti-Semitic scumbag to suggest that the Jews were behind the Christchurch massacre.
