That was fast! Bloomberg WH reporter already running with baseless Nikki Haley resignation narrative

As Twitchy told you, Donald Trump has announced that Nikki Haley is resigning as U.N. Ambassador in order to “take a break.” According to Trump, Haley informed him six months ago that she was thinking of resigning at the end of the year.

But clearly we’re not supposed to buy that explanation:

Many in White House in the dark on WHY exactly she’s doing this, and they’re asking themselves why *now,* just before the midterm elections. https://t.co/YMQZ5lu9HR

Sources close to the WH echo this sentiment — that the timing doesn't make sense. A source adds that it allows people to say Kavanaugh might have played a role. https://t.co/JiLtUBzVie

Exactly.
I have no indication Nikki Haley resigned because of discontent over Kavanaugh’s confirmation, but the timing hints that — and White House aides are aware of that. https://t.co/LjI9zDYIdi

“No indication.” But as we’ve seen so much lately, a lack of concrete evidence is no excuse not to push a narrative.

No evidence? Run with it anyway. https://t.co/czZ2BslIjA

Much journalisming here.

No indication, so you just have to throw it out there…. can’t you wait and see what the facts are… great journalism here. ?

Less hints. More facts

That’s a tall order for today’s Real Journalists.

So you've done as much reporting as a random Twitter user. Take a bow.
