My heart goes out to you and your family and most of all to your husband Senator McCain! Thank you so much for so many years of service! ??❤️

.@SenJohnMcCain spent 5 years as a POW at the Hanoi Hilton where he was tortured — injuries lasting his whole life. As an admiral’s son he was offered early release & refused. Whatever you think of his politics, McCain is an American hero. God bless him & his family in this time. https://t.co/PN13NZsuHI

Sad news about @SenJohnMcCain. May his remaining days with his family be as happy and pain-free as possible.

He could infuriate as easily as he could inspire, but no one could doubt he gave his all to his country, in uniform and out, from distant tiger cages to the Senate. Tireless, determined, often but not always the happy warrior. Godspeed, John McCain. pic.twitter.com/CSO99m792J
