SHOW YOUR WORK! David Hogg makes 'SERIOUS' claim about NRA, but where's his evidence?

Mariia Butina, the 29-year-old Russian national charged by the DOJ with conspiracy, allegedly tried to develop a relationship with the NRA. Now, while that’s definitely worth looking into, David Hogg’s take on the situation is a little more … dramatic:

Russia used the NRA to give Trump $30 million
Russia used the NRA to give Trump $30 million
Russia used the NRA to give Trump $30 million
Russia used the NRA to give Trump $30 million
Russia used the NRA to give Trump $30 million #NRAgate

RT this so everyone knows

The NRA spent over $30 million on Trump’s campaign. But it’s a bit of a leap from that to “Russia used the NRA to give Trump $30 million.” Especially if you’re not willing to show your work.

Source?

What sources are these from?

Sorry, will need proof before RT’ing.

Can you post a credible link to the facts that back this statement up? And rolling stone magazine is not exactly a credible source.

Yep. You can’t just throw out accusations like that unless you’ve got some proof to back you up.

Writing something x10 like you do on a blackboard when you're held after class does not make it true. https://t.co/zUcvX0XnQF

In any event, here’s a really fair exit question:

Child, why would Russia have a vested interested in American citizens remaining armed? https://t.co/ql3ZVuld3g

Update:

When you’ve got nothing to fall back on, the best thing to do is … double down?

The NRA is Russian funded and controlled. https://t.co/YBeF2dm5eh

Keep it up, David. You’re on a roll.

You have no evidence for this, it isn't true, and you cannot possibly believe it.

You're a liar. https://t.co/GnsEpjOzh8
