As Twitchy told you, CNN’s foremost brave firefighter Jim Acosta is standing firm against the dictatorship that is the Trump presidency by refusing to back down after shouting at Trump during yesterday’s signing ceremony in Singapore:
Dear Brad.. dictatorships take away press credentials. Not democracies. https://t.co/TqgCHOW0t6
— Jim Acosta (@Acosta) June 13, 2018
Did we mention he’s brave? He’s just asking question, dammit! That’s his job!
alternate headline for this @FoxNews chyron from this morning: CNN reporter does his job pic.twitter.com/EkC0f38D8B

Things sure have changed …
This CNN story from 2012 when a conservative reporter interrupted an Obama event with a policy question, is hilarious in light of @Acosta and @oliverdarcy etc now insisting this is totes their job pic.twitter.com/EvYWcfv8JQ

Especially since the CNN story in 2012 provided two options for what interrupting a presidential event with a policy question could be. Neither was “a reporter’s job” pic.twitter.com/UXY1PTgcLx

And it gets even better:
Fun byline on this one.https://t.co/s5AREDfVj9 pic.twitter.com/22FQ04RetA

Awkward! (Especially given the fact that Stelter retweeted Darcy’s “alternative headline” tweet.)
Oh man. Of course. https://t.co/KNm8YiRGdT

Of course.

Update:
Who’s up for some more hypocrisy?
No problem with Acosta shouting questions at Trump and Kim, but the reaction among journalists between that, and Neil Munro shouting questions at Obama in the Rose Garden has been enlightening.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) June 13, 2018
I guess we're just going to memory hole how Munro was portrayed as a disrespectful heckler by other journalists and media outlets.
