As Twitchy told you, last night’s Grammy Awards ceremony featured a bit where celebrities — most notably Hillary Clinton — read excerpts from Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury.” Unsurprisingly, Nikki Haley, who Wolff has insinuated has had an affair with Donald Trump, wasn’t impressed by the stunt.
What makes Hillary’s schtick so obnoxious, though, isn’t just the fact that she managed to insert herself into what’s ostensibly not supposed to be a political event. It’s also that, during a ceremony at which the elephant in the room was for the most part conspicuously ignored, Hillary’s presence was essentially a slap in the face to female artists who have been victims of sexual predation — and she was cheered on all the while.
This morning, HotAir’s Ed Morrissey perfectly summed up the perverseness of it all:

Shame on the Grammys. Shame on anyone who continues to promote Hillary Clinton as a torch-bearer for women’s empowerment.
