So this is where we’re at now:

“We at the pie shop believe that we should love everyone and we were sad to hear what happened to Ahmed,” said Megan Wilkes, owner of Emporium Pies.
…
Wilkes said both locations, as they always do, will provide free slices of pie to uniformed law enforcement officers.
“We never want to criticize law enforcement, but [Ahmed] had to deal with a lot of stuff today,” Wilkes said. “We felt like it was a little bit silly, so why not encourage him by saying everyone that brings in a clock gets 20-percent off their pie.”
Well, a discount on pie is a discount on pie. And who doesn’t love pie?

Hard to argue with that.
