In just a few days, the American Academy of Physician Associates will be holding their annual convention in Nashville.
#AAPA23 will shine a spotlight on two significant and timely #healthcare topics during the main stage events: what the future of healthcare looks like and how lifestyle choices impact the brain and whole health. Read more: https://t.co/MAuCJZgEOW pic.twitter.com/HNLN8GsclR

You may have noticed that if you click on the above tweet, Bari Weiss is pictured in the group of photos on the right. That’s because she will be a moderator during a discussion.
Or, rather, she was going to be a moderator. Apparently she won’t be there after all.
This April 27th @AAPAOrg tweet has @bariweiss listed as a speaker at the conference, but the website no longer includes her.https://t.co/J2U6LKn8MB https://t.co/Y4QcuLUf3A pic.twitter.com/U8NvJMtzLD

Well, would you look at that?
Bari Weiss’ photo is definitely missing from the lineup. Wonder what happened. Probably a scheduling conflict.
Or maybe some deranged busybody Karen with an axe to grind intervened and convinced that AAPA to drop Weiss like a hot potato:
Indeed it appears the @TheFP's @bariweiss has been disinvited from the American Academy of Physicians Associates (@AAPAorg) conference. Here's the original promo and the promo as it current stands on the website: https://t.co/uMgnBKXqeg pic.twitter.com/Gi7051yKDV

The Physician Associates For Latino Health for one had expressed intentions to boycott the session in a post entitled "PALH Position on AAPA's Decision to allow Bari Weiss at AAPA"
"to allow"!https://t.co/J7uCqs5MEZ pic.twitter.com/ExCpSXBlLp

The Physician Associates for Latino Health sound like a bunch of whiny partisans who are so committed to patients’ health that they’re boycotting … a writer who advocates for patients to have all the available information to make informed health-related decisions.
But look at Jeryl Bier’s tweet immediately preceding that one. Is that Alejandra Caraballo he’s quote-retweeting? As in, notable Harvard Law Cyberlaw Clinic clinical instructor, radical trans activist, and deranged busybody Karen, Alejandra Caraballo? Of course it is!
The American Academy of Physicians Associates have rescinded their invitation for the transphobic Bari Weiss to moderate a panel this weekend at their conference.

She must’ve blocked me at some point because I had to use an incognito window to see what her tweet actually said. Looks like I’ve really been missing out on some quality content, if this is anything to go by:
Original post. Expect Bari Weiss to launch an attack on the AAPA and cry about "cancel culture." https://t.co/e05P5PL8mj
— Alejandra Caraballo (@Esqueer_) May 15, 2023
Here’s what Alejandra had to say about Weiss’ presence at the conference:
Trans people disproportionately rely on physician's assistants for care so it's incredibly disturbing that the AAPA is featuring anti trans bigot Bari Weiss as a panel moderator at their conference on May 21st in Nashville. https://t.co/4H4S7zp5Qd
— Alejandra Caraballo (@Esqueer_) May 11, 2023
Bari Weiss has consistently platformed the worst transphobes in media. Bari defended libs of tiktok who incited bomb threats against children's hospitals and she helped publish a debunked story that led to Missouri attempting to effectively ban all gender affirming care. pic.twitter.com/0xJLxJwVUs
— Alejandra Caraballo (@Esqueer_) May 11, 2023
The AAPA has consistently supported LGBTQ healthcare and access to gender affirming care, so it is absolutely sickening that the AAPA would choose to feature Bari Weiss on a panel, someone who has worked to limit access to care and defended those who threatened providers. pic.twitter.com/w9Hf0g7tfC
— Alejandra Caraballo (@Esqueer_) May 11, 2023
My DM's have been filled with PAs, many of whom are trans and/or care for trans patients who are sickened by the AAPA having Bari Weiss speaking at their conference. It's absolutely a slap in the face for many who have been threatened, doxed, and harassed for providing care.
— Alejandra Caraballo (@Esqueer_) May 11, 2023
Members of the AAPA, if you want to be a good ally, you should speak out against this and raise concerns with the board of the AAPA and the conference organizers.
— Alejandra Caraballo (@Esqueer_) May 11, 2023
Translation: “Members of the AAPA, if you don’t want me to unleash my hordes of radical trans activists upon you and work like hell to make sure no one at your organization will be safe, give Bari Weiss the boot and never speak of this again.”
I don’t know how big of a role Alejandra Caraballo actually played in the AAPA’s decision to disinvite Weiss, but based on Caraballo’s tweets, it sounds like she’s more than happy to take credit for it. And I don’t know about you guys, but I think that’s pretty messed up. And I think the fact that there are actually real people out there who don’t think it’s messed up makes it even more messed up:
Why would the AAPA do this? What is their reasoning that her moderation is appropriate given her anti-trans narrative?
— The Original Angry Vagina Lady🏳️🌈 (@VaginaAngry) May 11, 2023
Ah yes let us have a someone who is not trans, with no medical expertise whatsoever, and has a history of promoting anti-trans bigotry, come engaged in a thoughtful and nuanced conversation regarding trans issues. Makes perfect sense.
— Ban Anime Avatars (@WokeChocolate) May 11, 2023
The thing that really gets me is that she doesn't even have qualifications! Like, it would be one thing if they invited some Mayo Clinic doctor who happens to be a transphobe. But she isn't even a medical professional! She's literally just a political pundit!
— Functional Adult (parody) (@nwclerk1989) May 11, 2023
Oh, please. If Bari Weiss had an M.D. and ten PhDs, it still wouldn’t satisfy the mob calling for her head on a pike unless she also renounced her belief — which, it should be noted, is rooted in reality and science and medicine — that transgenderism is not healthy and that “gender-affirming care” can result in lifelong mental, psychological, and physical damage. So basically, thugs like Caraballo won’t rest until Weiss is totally out of commission.
This is so disgusting
— jessica kant (@jessdkant) May 11, 2023
No. What’s disgusting is the radical trans activist brigade trying not just to get Bari Weiss disinvited from events, but to get her outright blackballed from any public forum merely for questioning the radical trans activist narrative and trying to provide as much information as possible, rather than censor as much information as possible, which is what Caraballo et al. are trying to do.
I honestly don't care what she has to say. I was set to speak to a major hospital as a guest lecturer on the legal history of gender affirming care but it was canceled last minute due to a fear of bomb and death threats and the safety of their staff and patients.
— Alejandra Caraballo (@Esqueer_) May 15, 2023
“I honestly don’t care what she has to say” because I disagree with her and also I’m stunning and brave and also a victim.
That right there sums up Caraballo’s woke mobster mentality.
