President Joe Biden sure did take his sweet time putting together a statement regarding the shocking assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. But that’s probably because he wanted to make sure that it would be thoughtful and understated while also categorically condemning the murder.
Or maybe he just wanted to find a way to shoehorn gun control into his response:
