'THAT was fast'! Looks like Barack Obama just COULDN'T help himself [video]

So, remember that time yesterday when Barack Obama condemned identity politics? It was like a breath of fresh air, especially considering that his political career relied so heavily on identity politics.

Well, this may come as a complete shock to you, but it looks like he was just blowing smoke:

"Men have been getting on my nerves lately," says Barack Obama pic.twitter.com/j5z62PvKUL

Sigh.

What happened to the toxicity of exclusionary identity politics? https://t.co/pZN3N2HXYk

That didn't take long.

Well that didn’t take long 🙁 back to identity politics!

It was a short-lived headline grab.

Never fear my dear. He blew it in the same speech. Once an Identitarian, always an Identitarian. https://t.co/2wVVH63haN

Yep.

Of course Barack Obama would double down on identity politics. It's the only reason he won against Mitt Romney.

His economic record was horrendous. People hated Obamacare. Democrats were getting drummed out of office across the country. And yet he won with urban white voters? Of course he thinks a person's physical traits matter more than their competency.

His problem is that no one ever told him differently. You think Ben Rhodes ever said to him "Uh, Mr. President, not everyone thinks that way."

I mean this was a guy that stood up in SOUTH AFRICA and lectured Americans about authoritarianism??

Self-awareness level, sub zero.
