INCOMING! Meghan McCain SLAMS Joy Reid over Photoshopped image of John McCain

As Twitchy told you yesterday, BuzzFeed dug up an old post from Joy Reid’s defunct blog in which she encouraged readers to check out a 9/11 truther video and called into question the events of 9/11.

So it shouldn’t come as much of a shock to find out that there was lots more crazy where that came from:

More from BuzzFeed:

MSNBC host Joy Reid’s new-defunct blog published an image of Senator John McCain’s head photoshopped onto the body of Virginia Tech shooter Seung-Hui Cho, according to a newly discovered post reviewed by BuzzFeed News.

The October 2007 post, titled “Baghdad John Strikes Again,” discusses then-GOP Presidential nominee John McCain’s infamous claim that he would “follow Osama bin Laden to the gates of hell.” The image appears at the end of the post, which was apparently penned by Reid.

It’s unclear from the post if the photoshopped image was created by Reid, shared by her from another source, or inserted by a hacker. Reverse image searches of the photo on Google and TinEye yielded no previously published matches elsewhere.

No doubt that if Reid ever does respond to BuzzFeed’s request for comment, she’ll claim that time-traveling hackers put the Photoshopped image of McCain on her blog, too. Not that it matters to Meghan McCain, who, when she learned about the post, didn’t mince words:

True story. But it’s just par for the course with Joy Reid. This sort of garbage is right up her alley.

McCain retweeted this Clay Aiken tweet as well:

How much longer can even Reid’s most ardent defenders continue to give her a pass?
