CNN's Chris Cuomo tells Mazie Hirono that Amy Coney Barrett's strong faith makes her different from 'an ordinary Catholic' [video]

If you’re gonna sneer at Amy Coney Barrett’s Catholic faith, you won’t find a better audience than Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono.

So we imagine that CNN’s Chris Cuomo was pretty stoked to be able to get this off his chest:

CNN's Chris Cuomo: ACB "does have an affiliation in a religious organization, which I think makes her different than most Catholics … her faith is by design more central to her value system and her behavior and thoughts than it would be for just an ordinary Catholic."

And that’s……bad?

Apparently it’s supposed to be.

I don’t think Chris understands what religion is…

That's… Ummm… How faith is supposed to work. It's a feature, not a bug. ?

That’s not the slam he thinks it is.

So he’s admitting his faith is just for show. Gotcha.

I'm so tired of Chris Cuomo acting like devoted Catholics who integrate their faith in every part of their lives are the weird ones. It's just not true.

To be fair, though, Chris Cuomo traffics in things that aren’t true. That’s just how he rolls.
