I don't know about you, but when Politico frames RFK Jr. saying constitutional rights take priority over public health like it's some radical hot take, my eyes roll so hard they practically leave the building.
It's as if none of these mainstream media rags understand why we're pissed at them about how they covered COVID. That, or they just simply refuse to see the truth about it.
Which was the point RFK Jr. was making when he got in Dana Bash's face and told her they were part of the problem. So of course, POLITICO jumps to defend Bash and the media in general.

I'm sitting here thinking back to those glorious years when questioning the official narrative got you labeled a granny-killer, called a traitor, deplatformed, or worse. Scientists who dared suggest natural immunity mattered, or that school closures were a disaster, or that lab-leak theories weren't conspiracy theories got the full media-government treatment. Free speech? Suspended. Debate? Canceled. And the press? Cheerleading the whole authoritarian circus.
Politico acts shocked—SHOCKED!—that RFK prioritizes the Constitution. As if "public health" somehow magically overrides the Bill of Rights whenever the experts (who were spectacularly wrong about so much) declare an emergency.
Bhattacharya nails it: the real COVID catastrophe wasn't just the virus. It was the suppression of dissenting scientists and the media's enthusiastic role in it. How many lives, livelihoods, and kids' futures got wrecked because alternative views were crushed?
