I'll never forget election night in 2020 when I watched Nick Freitas lead the entire night over my then-representative, Abigail Spanberger. She had been USELESS to those of us in her district during the pandemic, especially as our kids' education was held hostage by Ralph Northam and the Virginia Education Association. I was thrilled to see her LOSING because I'd lost count of all the emails I'd sent her, the phone calls I'd made, begging her to help get our kids back in the classroom ... and she'd ignored me. I think at one point she sent me an email talking about how grateful she was to our Public Health Director for keeping us safe (he was one of these 'directors' who claimed COVID was racist - yeah, Virginia was REALLY stupid in 2020), but she never did a thing to help me.
But then, just like other elections we saw change so dramatically overnight, Spanberger won after a thumb drive was 'found'.
I'm not kidding. And gosh, there just happened to be the number of votes Spanberger needed to squeak by and beat Freitas.
I was crushed.
As most of us were in 2020 ...

She was moved to another district in 2022 that included more blue areas (Democrats knew she would lose in the current district) and now she wants to run for governor next year. In case you didn't know, in Virginia a governor cannot run for two terms in a row so Youngkin cannot run again until 29. I hope that Winsome Sears will run and destroy Spanberger (if she even gets the Dem nod) but that's another story.
No, she's on my radar this morning because she was one of the blubbering Democrats blubbering about January 6 yesterday; add to that she's using the fact she's former CIA to make her point?
Yeah, see why I think she sucks.
As a former CIA officer, I trained for the possibility that I may someday be in a building under attack — in a foreign country.

I never imagined I’d be barricaded inside the House Chamber on January 6 as insurrectionists tried to stop Congress from certifying the 2020 election.
If I rolled my eyes any further back in my head I'd be able to see Spanberger's new district from my house. She actually wrote an entire thread about that TERRIBLE DAY but I won't make you guys read it. Trust me, it's stupid.
Sorry, calling her thread stupid is an insult to actual stupid threads.
And of course, I'm not the only one who thinks sucky Spanberger sucks ... and is only getting suckier:
Former CIA is an automatic disqualification for being trusted.

As a CIA officer, I’m sure you were trained on how to spread propaganda as well. Looks like you’re still plying your trade.

If you look up her history with the CIA you find she was really just a desk jockey but hey ... whatever makes her feel more important.

She spent that summer ignoring her constituents, especially the parents.
And we won't forget.
