I’ve had differences with Matt Walsh in the past (I still don’t agree with him telling any conservative they don’t belong if they disagree with him and his ideas) HOWEVER, he was spot on with his bit on Dylan Mulvaney. I know, there are plenty of people even on the Right who think this was mean from Walsh, but I think it was just honest.
And sometimes, honesty isn’t nice and the truth is hard.
I hate to break this to people criticizing Walsh for being a big meanie, but what’s REALLY mean is the appropriation of women in general. Our spaces, our experiences, our sports … feeling entitled to them, telling us we’re bigots for not giving them up freely, THAT’S mean. The idea that we are a costume for men who decide they want to be women, THAT’S mean. Pretending all it takes to be a woman is a bunch of makeup, dresses, and heels, and to act like a complete moron giggling at everything and gasping like everything shocks your delicate sensitivities … THAT’S MEAN.
Telling Dylan he will never truly be a woman regardless of how many procedures he has or trips to the White House he makes? That’s not mean. It’s reality.
And I’m not even a little bit sorry for saying so.

Hu-freaking-zzah.
My For You page on tiktok last night was filled with Trans people speaking out against the tampon flinging, period claiming, cis using, radical trans people, in support of women. Many are against minimizing women, their experiences & recognize they will never be biological women.

Trans activists insisting THEY ARE WOMEN, and that women who object to being labeled ‘cis’ to somehow make men who think they’re women feel better … that’s the issue. Well, that and pretending it’s ok for children to make decisions about their bodies that they can never unmake, but that’s another piece.
If you’re an adult and want to be the other sex, that’s your business.
But the moment you tell me I have to change who I am and how I relate to this world to support you and your efforts? No. So much no. Especially if that means I have to change in the locker room with a man.
Eff all that.
I have made pretty clear my objections to transitioning children, and argued that the concept of transgenderism has some philosophical incoherence, although I support adults' rights to live as they choose. I don't personally like the way Dylan mocks the concept of womanhood 1/

She was so close.
but I don't find this kind of bullying very productive, admirable, or really anything. And Matt Walsh seems to be doing more and more of it these days. 2/2

Women are being bullied.
Not Dylan.
The biggest issue isn’t “can Dylan pass” or “does anyone find Dylan attractive” it’s why are trans people like him allowed to bully everyone else?

Bingo.
