SCHOOLED! CJ Pearson drops BRUTAL history lesson on John Legend for insisting the parties 'switched'

Yesterday, Kanye West was sharing texts he had received from various people giving him information on the history of the Republican party. From Thomas Sowell to John Legend, he was sharing some hefty texts … and in the case of Legend, some hefty lies.

Luckily for Legend, a 15-year-old black activist by the name of CJ Pearson was front and center to set him and others straight.

True! And then all the segregationists and their ideological descendants eventually became Republicans! The solid south of the Democratic party became the solid south of the Republicans. White southern vote is almost exclusively GOP. Facts bruh.

There was never a “switch” in the parties. That’s a fallacy. Without GOP support, the 1964 Civil Right’s Act would have never passed.

61% of Democrats supported the 1964 CRA in the House while 80% of the Republicans did. 82% of Republicans supported it in the Senate.
