What they’re likely doing is pushing to extremes with this proposal knowing Republicans will look at them like they’re completely nuts and then they can go back to their base and screech about how the GOP doesn’t care about kids.
And it’s what they’ll run on for the midterms because we all know, that’s all they’ve got.
