Joe Scarborough can’t seem to help it. When he goes out to make a jackass of himself he REALLY goes out to make a jackass of himself.
We’re not entirely sure what his endgame was here with this whole argument about how SCOTUS and not the Constitution determines what the Second Amendment says but it didn’t go so well for him.
Read the US Constitution and "Heller". If you read before tweeting, you will learn that the 2nd Amendment is not what you feel it should be. The 2nd Amendment is what the Supreme Court says it is. https://t.co/XgNaGQlRCR

Someone definitely should be reading before tweeting, and his name rhymes with ‘glow’. Elliott Hamilton gave Joe a little pushback on his argument.
This is false. Heller was great in establishing what is already true (i.e., that we have a natural individual right to keep and bear arms), but it did not go far enough to preserve that right. The Court isn’t the ultimate arbiter on our natural rights; only G-d serves as such. https://t.co/2kxEzfDQeX

Considering our rights are inherent, yup.
Joe though couldn’t seem to deal with the idea of being called out and called Elliott a ‘Trumper’ so he could write him off. Typical.
Elliott, your tweet contradicts itself. You say:
1/ My tweet is “untrue” that "Heller" did not constitutionally protect the AR-15.
2/ You then attack "Heller" for not constitutionally protecting AR-15s. ?#TrumpWorld https://t.co/FFMLEFBBWn— Joe Scarborough (@JoeNBC) March 18, 2019
See, we told you Joe is the one who needs to read before tweeting.
Elliott responded.
You misunderstand the point, Joe (as per usual). The point is that it is one thing to restate the preexisting natural right; it is another thing to create a test that can be improperly utilized to bar the individual’s ability to access firearms. The 2nd Amend. has no exceptions. https://t.co/gpAsK8FeBA

So stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
He continued.
I would prefer it if @JoeNBC decided to engage in some intellectual honesty and some honest inquiry rather than go directly into ad hominem territory of “those who disagree with my views are just stupid Trumpers.”
FYI, I did more to oppose Trump in 2016 than you did.

Poor Joe. Schooled by a guy less than half his age.
Good times.
