Welp. It’s official.

Tom Nichols has jumped the shark.

There is no other explanation for this ri-damn-diculous tweet about how he for some reason trusts the Democrats more than the Republicans with the Constitution and the rule of law.

The only view I care about this cycle is respect for the Constitution. Everything else is a distant second. And my view is that preserving our system is a better bet with Dems than with the GOP.

Full disclosure, this editor used to be a huge fan of Tom Nichols so seeing him write such tripe is actually troubling. It’s like Trump broke him.

Pretending that Democrats care about the Constitution or the rule of law must be nice in whatever world you saw that in.
