As Twitchy reported earlier, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was interviewed on Firing Line by Margaret Hoover, and during said interview, Ocasio-Cortez said some monumentally stupid things about socialism that Margaret Hoover let go.
Things Buckley would have never let go.
She even smiled and nodded.

Firing Line was explicit in Buckley promoting conservative ideas and challenging guests who questioned them. This brand new monstrosity thinks Firung Line was simply about civilized tone. It wasn’t.

When Cortez talked about the occupation of Palestine by Israel, Hoover asked her to elaborate on that. Buckley wouldn’t ask her elaborate. He’d tell her there’s no such thing and then ask her who put such a silly idea into her head.

If Hoover can’t host Firing Line from the position of conservatism and conservative ideas instead of acting embarrassed of them to please her media friends then she shouldn’t be hosting a new Firing Line.
