Sheesh, Alyssa Milano seems upset with Dana Loesch for sharing a lil ol’ story we wrote about her when she bragged about beating the NRA.
It’s not our fault Alyssa doesn’t understand many things she’s advocating for when it comes to gun control are already in place and that it’s a lack of enforcement and a failure of the system that sadly leads to many mass shootings. Which is why we laugh so hard when gun grabbers demand MORE LAWS – maybe they think if they make some things DOUBLY ILLEGAL that will do the trick this time.
Hello, @DLoesch. Since the Parkland shooting, common sense gun reform measures have been adopted at the local, state and federal level, while the private sector has made guns less available. And we are not done yet. (Thread) #NoRA https://t.co/U9STtmEGmc

She might as well have said, ‘I’ll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!’
Federal: spending bill that went into law will make it easier for the Centers for Disease Control to investigate the causes of gun violence. #NoRA

Umm … CDC arranged such a study under Obama. Of course, the findings weren’t what gun control harpies wanted to hear:
From The Business Insider:
“Almost all national survey estimates indicate that defensive gun uses by victims are at least as common as offensive uses by criminals,” says the report, which was completed in June and ignored in the mainstream press.
The study also revealed that while there were “about 300,000 violent crimes involving firearms in 2008,” the estimated number of defensive uses of guns ranges “from about 500,000 to more than 3 million per year.”
Oops.
Federal: spending bill also includes bipartisan provision that offers more money to states that comprehensively upload information to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System. #NoRA

In other words, Congress realized there is a failure in the system and their solution was throwing money at it.
Way to go.
FLORIDA: Florida banned bump stocks and raised the minimum age at which a person can purchase firearms from 18 to 21. #NoRA

Interesting considering neither of these laws would have stopped the Parkland gunman.

MA: passes Red Flag Law which would allows relative or someone else close to a gun owner to get a court to issue an extreme risk protection order if they believed the person is dangerous. Awaiting reconciliation on gun trafficking amendment that limits to 15 gun purchases a yr.
— Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) June 9, 2018
Awaiting reconciliation … this means they’re likely not going to do anything about this and want people like Alyssa to quit bugging them.
So in closing @DLoesch, it seems that our lawmakers are #NoRA and listening to what the majority of gun owners and non-gun owners want—stricter gun laws. We’ve only just begun to chip away at the gun lobby’s power. We. Are. Winning.
— Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) June 9, 2018
So in closing, Alyssa proves they really haven’t done ANYTHING that would have stopped any of these mass shootings.
Which of course we already knew.
Alyssa, gun sales are off the charts, and @NRA has a million more members thanks to your attempt at a gun grab! Thank you!
— Harry Gato (@harrygato) June 9, 2018
Alyssa is second only to Obama when it comes to increasing NRA membership and encouraging more people to buy guns.
Thanks Alyssa!
