After Harvey ravaged parts of Texas (especially Houston), President Trump declared September 3 a National Day of Prayer.

This morning, Vice President Pence sent this message and his prayers.

And in true Twitter style, the National Day of Prayer brought out the very best, and the very worst in people.

First, the best:

Full transparency, it was really tough to find positive tweets on this tag … who knew a day calling for prayer would be seen as something controversial? Pray if you want, don’t pray if you don’t want. This ain’t rocket science folks.

And here are some of the worst:

Do these yahoos really think the president is making them pray today?

Alrighty then.

Yeah, because Trump owns prayer. Funny this person is telling people to use their brains … heh.

Wow.

Double wow.

These folks need Jesus, just sayin’.
